Psychological Influences
This activity is important because marketing managers need to understand how and why consumers behave the way they do, to market them effectively. Important psychological concepts like motivation, personality, perception, learning, values, beliefs, attitudes, and lifestyles are all helpful in analyzing consumer behavior and choosing marketing efforts.
The goal of this exercise is to demonstrate your understanding of the differences between five major psychological concepts: lifestyle, learning, motivation, perception, and values.
